March for Queer Liberation

The march's goal is to showcase the ongoing fight for intersectional queer liberation with speakers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, moving past what we see as a predominantly assimilationist queer culture at Penn. Lily is also still looking for speakers, particularly individuals of marginalized/intersectional queer experiences. Do any of you know of any Penn Medicine faculty members who would be interested in speaking to structural issues in queer healthcare or queer and trans medical research? We appreciate any insight you have. The march is currently scheduled for March 22 from 12-2pm. The goal is to get as much turnout as possible, and showing a unified front from LGBTQ+ student groups is a huge way to push that forward. Please see the graphic for more information.
